Today's Activities: 45mins=3miles on treadmill, before & after weights
Today I am feeling a little better.....more that I'm looking on the brighter side of things. Seeing where I am and just trying to do better. Every choice is still a choice, and ideally I'd like to make good choices. :-) So I have been playing with the idea of running on my treadmill...that was one reason I wanted to get one in the first place. I have to say though that I have NEVER been a runner....I mean seriously even in high school I would walk around the track once in 20mins...and say I did a mile. Nice huh. It's the whole breathing thing.....I don't really know how to pay attention to it...my nose starts burning...my lungs start burning...I start breathing too fast and then before I know it I'm having an asthma attack. So needless to say that running I just put in my catagory of 'I can't do'.
So my running experieince today.....I was doing intervals...running for a short time, and then walking...and going back and forth. I was actually doing pretty good (for me)...I was paying attention to my breathing, making sure I was keeping it steady...and then my toes in my right foot started tingling...and everytime I did the running part the tingling was going up farther and farther on my leg. SOOO I stopped doing the running....and stayed with a nice brisk walk. The tingling has gone away, but I'm going to talk to Tommy and see what he says about it.
